Mithun was seen dozing off in his hospital bed on Sunday as BJP politician Sukanta Majumdar, his doctor, paid him a visit. The footage was posted online. A doctor gave Mithun an update on his condition in a video that ANI posted on X, the old name for Twitter. Mithun was overheard telling the doctor to drink plenty of water.</p>

<p>On Saturday, February 10, Mithun Chakraborty was taken to the emergency department of Apollo Hospital in Kolkata. The actor reportedly felt unwell and was subsequently sent to the hospital. The Apollo Hospital announced in a statement later in the day that the actor had experienced an ischemic cerebrovascular stroke.</p>
