Details of the 2024 Kawasaki Eliminator 500
The all-new Kawasaki Eliminator is a stylishly traditional cruiser. The bike still has a low-slung look and relaxed attitude, but it also has an exposed frame, a circular LED headlight, and all-black parts.

All the necessary instruments, including a tachometer, fuel gauge, coolant temperature indication, gear position indicator, two trip meters, and more, are shown on the cruiser’s circular LCD instrument panel. Additionally, the device includes a Bluetooth connection, which enables the Kawasaki Rideology app to send calls and alerts to it.

A 451cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine based on the Ninja 400 powers the 2024 Kawasaki Eliminator. This engine debuted in the new Ninja Kawasaki 500 and Z500 at EICMA in 2023. At 9,000 rpm, the engine generates 44 horsepower, and at 6,000 rpm, it reaches its peak torque of 46 Nm. The engine has a 6-speed transmission with a slipping clutch and an assist feature.

Power is sent to the back wheel via a six-speed gearbox including a slip/assist clutch. The Eliminator 500 sports two rear shocks and a completely rebuilt chassis. The Vulcan 650, its bigger sister, features a monoshock; this will give the bike a more retro cruiser appearance.

Additional mechanical components include dual shock absorbers at the back and 41 mm telescopic front forks. Braking performance is provided by a 220 mm rear disc and a 310 mm semi-floating front disc with dual-channel ABS. The bike has 10-spoke alloy wheels wrapped in front and rear tires measuring 130/70/R18 and 150/80R16, respectively. The new Eliminator’s 734 mm seat height makes it accessible to all riders, and Kawasaki provides footpegs and seats that may be adjusted to the rider’s preference.

Midway through January, Kawasaki India will start shipping the new Eliminator. Apart from motorbikes, the firm also offers accessories including frame sliders, radiator screens, rear carriers, and tank pads. The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 and the Eliminator 500 are the main competitors in the middleweight cruiser class.
