<p>Shatrughan Sinha discusses Amitabh Bachchan’s insecurities around this time of his career in his biography Anything But Khamosh. Amitabh, according to Sinha, seems hesitant to collaborate with him since he could “see the response [Sinha] was getting.” The narrative reveals how Amitabh’s mistrust of Sinha peaked during the Kaala Patthar shooting. As they traveled between filming sites at the same time, Amitabh never extended an invitation for Sinha to go along in his vehicle. <p>“People claim that Amitabh and I created a great acting team, but he refused to work with me in real life. In the movies Kala Patthar, Dostana, Shaan, and Naseeb, the public believed that I eclipsed Amitabh Bachchan. However, it has never mattered to me,” admits Sinha.</p>
<p>Shatrughan Sinha publicly admitted his unhappiness at not receiving an invitation to Abhishek Bachchan’s wedding years later. The two performers ultimately came to an understanding. Amitabh Bachchan even showed up for one of the book launch events when Sinha’s memoir Anything But Khamosh was published in 2016 to support his old coworker.</p>
