The cricket One-Day World Cup will be held in India in October and November. The BCCI has produced a tentative match schedule and handed it to the ICC. The tournament will begin on October 5 in Ahmedabad, according to the draught. In the first match, England and New Zealand will compete. On October 8 in Chennai, India will play their first match against Australia. The championship game between India and Pakistan will take place on October 15. The match will take place at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium, which has seating for a thousand people. The World Cup final game will be played in Ahmedabad on November 19.

All of the World Cup-playing teams have received this draught schedule, according to the cricket website ESPNCRICINFO. After taking into account their input, the final timetable will be made public the following week.

Five cities in Pakistan will host Pakistan’s league games.

Pakistan’s matches will be held at five cities in India. The Pakistani squad will take versus Australia on October 20 in Bengaluru, Afghanistan on October 23 in Chennai, and South Africa on October 27 in the same city. They will face Bangladesh on October 31 in Kolkata and New Zealand on November 5 in Bengaluru. There will be one more league game versus England on November 12 in Kolkata.

The BCCI is running behind schedule, and ticket information is being hidden.

The 2015 and 2019 One Day World Cup schedules were made available to the public a year ago. The schedule for the 2023 World Cup is currently being set. Less than four months remain till the event begins. The World Test Championship will be the occasion for the World Cup schedule to be revealed, according to Jay Shah, the BCCI secretary, who said this on May 27. Due to the delay in the schedule, the ICC has been unable to give information on the tickets for the World Cup games.

If Pakistan’s appeal for the Asia Cup is granted, the squad won’t place any restrictions on its World Cup participation.

The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) may accept the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) bid for the Asia Cup. According to the news agency PTI, the PCB has recommended that all of India’s matches be played in Sri Lanka and the rest matches be played in Pakistan. The ACC could officially announce the Asia Cup on Tuesday, June 13. Pakistan’s World Cup encounter against India will thereafter get off to a clean start.

According to an ACC member, CEO Geoff Allardice and Chairman Greg Barclay visited PCB Chairman Najam Sethi in Karachi. During this discussion, it was made clear that Pakistan would not impose any limitations on its ability to participate in the World Cup since all four of the competition’s games would be held there.
