In the interview, Ashish said, ‘I read many derogatory words like Budha, Khoosat, but the funniest thing is that these comments have come from people like us. Let me tell those who are saying all this that they are making lewd comments about someone older than themselves. By doing this, they are pushing themselves into fear, because one day everyone has to grow old.’

Ashish Vidyarthi’s second wife Rupali Baruah is a resident of Assam and is a fashion designer by profession. Rupali Baruah also runs her own Fashion Story in Kolkata. Ashish and Rupali were friends first, after which both of them got married in court.
