He has played 38 games for Barcelona after his much awaited transfer to the Catalan powerhouse. For Barcelona, Kounde had one goal in the score. Kounde has so far appeared in 20 international football games for France.
a Premier League group Jules Kounde was coveted by Chelsea months before he joined Barcelona. The approach from the London-based team was, however, turned down by Sevilla. The aforementioned outlet's report claims that Chelsea is once again interested in signing the French international this summer. Mauricio Pochettino, the next manager of Chelsea, allegedly wants to use Kounde in the Blues' backline next year.
Head coach Xavi recently discussed Jules Kounde's status in the transfer market amid the 24-year-old's unclear future at Barcelona. Yes, we were delighted and everything was apparent when I talked to him. I don't see any issues. In the Jose Zorrilla press room, Xavi allegedly remarked, “We both got out of the meeting delighted.
Barcelona, however, suffered their first loss last week after winning the La Liga championship. At the Camp Nou, Real Sociedad defeated them 1-2. In their subsequent game, Real Valladolid crushed Xavi's team 3-1. By defeating their local rivals Espanyol, Barcelona won their first La Liga championship since the 2018–19 season with four games remaining.
